Scholarship Deadline Extended: Dr. Bireswar Bose Nursing Scholarship 2025

Good news for nursing students in the Barrhead area! The Dr. Bireswar Bose Nursing Scholarship 2025 application deadline has been extended to July 15, 2025. If you’re a dedicated student continuing your nursing education this fall, there’s still time to apply for this valuable financial support.

This scholarship is a meaningful way to recognize and support future nurses who are committed to serving their community. It’s open to students from the Barrhead area who are pursuing careers as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Nurses (RN), or Nurse Practitioners (NP).

Scholarship Awards

  • $2,000 – for students in the LPN program

  • $3,000 – for students in the RN program

  • $4,000 – for students in the NP program

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have completed at least one year in their LPN, RN, or NP program

  • Provide proof of enrolment for September 2025

  • Have a Barrhead town or county address or be a graduate of Barrhead Composite High School

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and involvement in community service
